Position requires 10% local travel (within Metro Detroit)

Job Duties:  Lead solution design and drive sales for integrated ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and AV (Audio-Visual) systems.  Deliver customized, innovative, and scalable solutions for a wide range of clients.  Perform hands-on design, consultative sales approach, and ability to support multiple complex projects across security, AV, and network systems.  Design and sell complete low voltage systems, including AV, CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television), access control, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), digital signage, and structured cabling.  Meet with clients to assess needs and present tailored solutions supported by technical documentation including BOQs (Bill of Quantities), drawings, SOWs (Statement of Work), and specs.  Prepare AutoCAD and Bluebeam drawings, system schematics, and design proposals in collaboration with the engineering team.  Collaborate with vendors and integrators to source appropriate products and negotiate pricing.  Generate and maintain accurate sales forecasts using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools such as Salesforce.  Lead or assist in project commissioning and final system handover.  Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies in AV, security, and network infrastructure.  Support the sales team with technical insights and presentations during the pre-sales and bidding phase.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or foreign academicequivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.  Plus 5 years of experience in the job offeredor a related occupation including Project Engineer, ELV Sales Manager, orrelated experience.  Position requires 3years of experience with design of ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, AV(Audio-Visual) solutions, and AutoCAD. AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Control4 AutomationProgrammer, and Q-SYS Level 1 Training certifications required.  40hrs/week.
